Session LEADERSHIP

In Presbyterianism the church is run by a session, which is composed of pastors (sometimes called "teaching elders") and elders (sometimes called "ruling elders"). The Session's job is to oversee the spiritual growth and unity of the church as under-shepherds of the Great Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ (see 1 Peter 5:1-4). They are called to be the chief servants of the church and to lead the congregation in Christian growth through the ministry of the Word and their own example. Any questions, comments, or concerns can always be directed to them.
